Die Sonne ist zurück...

nachdem es sich in den letzten Tagen desöfteren angedeutet hat, scheint sich das gute Wetter nun durchzusetzen.
Pünktlich zu Purim, dem jüdischen Pendant zum Karneval. Und da meine Klausuren vom letzten Semester hinter mir liegen, habe ich auch endlich mal wieder Zeit ein bisschen die Sonne zu genießen :-)
But with the new term, most of my old friends left to finish their degree this summer somewhere in Europe...and they requested a change into English...and who can resist to French girls (you Gary?), especially if you are lucky that they didn't ask to write in French.

But anyway, you are missing right now the best time in Tel Aviv...like yesterday a normal Friday, Tel Aviv was so crowded. Dressed young people everywhere (Purim)...I supposed to buy as well something for a Purim-Party...but I ended up in nice coffee place in Bograshov with Naomi and few friends. The real Purim is by the way on Sunday, but Tel Aviv is flexible...and it's better for the clubs to have it on a week-end (Friday & Saturday). But also in Jerusalem it suppose to be funny because it's the only day that you observe drunken orthodox people. (more background informations : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purim ).

To the Purim party I went as a Finnish...and even the two Finnish guys accepted it.

Right now it is Shabbat...and even in Allenby there is nearly no traffic...kind of a hangover atmosphere after a crowded Friday...people waking up still tired and going directly to some coffee places or to the beach...a group chill-out. I will do it as well now...taking some readings with me, sitting on the beach in the sun...so enjoy your week-end!
